Delhi Sees ₹35,000 Cr in Ongoing NHAI Projects, More to Follow

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that infrastructure projects worth ₹35,000 crore are currently underway in the capital under the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). Previously, projects worth ₹64,000 crore have been completed, and new developments worth ₹24,000 crore are set to begin soon.

Key projects include a 7-kilometre tunnel from Shiv Murti to Nelson Mandela Road, new highways connecting Delhi to Katra, Amritsar, and Dehradun, and an elevated road from INA to the airport. Roads like Rohtak Road, Nangloi, Ashram, and Badarpur will also be made signal-free to ease traffic flow.
