Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced the successful completion of the 66.916 km, 4-lane Greenfield Bandikui Spur, built at a cost of ₹2,016 crore by MoRTH. The project offers direct, access-controlled connectivity between the Delhi–Vadodara Expressway and Jaipur, eliminating the need for longer, fuel-heavy detours via NH-48 and NH-21.
This key infrastructure development reduces Delhi–Jaipur travel time from 3 hours 45 minutes to just 3 hours, while significantly improving mobility, easing traffic congestion, and enhancing logistics efficiency. It is expected to boost tourism to iconic destinations like Amer Fort and Jantar Mantar, lower transportation costs, and open new markets for local farmers by improving access to Delhi’s consumer base—fueling regional economic growth.
