Delhi Government Approves MoU for Phase-IV Metro Corridors

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has greenlit the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Delhi government, the Centre, and the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for the first three corridors of the Phase-IV metro expansion project. These corridors include Janakpuri West-RK Ashram Marg, Majlis Park-Maujpur, and Aerocity-Tughlakabad, spanning a total of 65.2 km and comprising 45 stations. The approval aims to expedite construction by removing obstacles and ensuring collaboration between stakeholders. Additionally, efforts are underway to seek approval for the remaining three corridors pending with the central government, namely Rithala-Bawana-Narela, Inderlok-Indraprastha, and Lajpat Nagar-Saket G Block.
