Decks cleared for Dwarka expressway

The Punjab and Haryana High Court recently disposed off a petition against allotment of plots to those who don't have proper property documents, thereby, clearing the way for completion of the long-delayed Dwarka Expressway road project. The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) now aims to give the possession of plots by April 10. In the petition, Dwarka Expressway's ousted residents were demanding alternative plot, HUDA administrator, Yashpal Yadav said, claiming that with this judgment, all the roadblocks for the construction of Dwarka expressway have been cleared and the nodal agency will now allocate the plots and give possession, whereby, the ousted masses will have six months to vacate the structures coming in the way of the mega road project, he said.
