Dilip Buildcon has been declared as the lowest bidder (L-1) for the National Highways Authority of India's (NHAI) new Hybrid Annuity Project in Madhya Pradesh entailing an investment of Rs 1,004 crore. The scope of work in the project entailed the construction of road tunnel via duct and Churhat bypass of Rewa-Sidhi section of NH 75E on design, build, operate and transfer (DBOT) annuity basis. The construction period of the project is 48 months and the operation period is 15 years for the project commanding a length of 15.35 km. Dilip Buildcon, which is a Bhopal based road contractor and developer, has progressively diversified from Madhya Pradesh government orders to central and other state government road projects and its order book stood at Rs.12,357 crore as of Q3FY18. The latest order win is 8% of the order book (Q3FY18) of the company as it has guided for order inflows of Rs.8,000- Rs.10,000cr in FY18 on the back of strong contract delivery of around Rs.1.4 lakh crore from NHAI.
