CII EXCON 2025 Concludes with Record Participation, 1,250 Exhibitors & 1.2 Lakh Visitors

The exhibition featured seven international pavilions from France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Turkey, China and the UK, along with more than 300 product launches and live demonstrations of next-generation machinery. Strong engagement in B2B meetings, order bookings and technology collaborations reflected renewed industry confidence amid India’s Rs 11.21 lakh crore infrastructure allocation for FY 2025–26.
R. Mukundan, President Designate, CII and Chairman, EXCON 2025, said the event underscores the construction equipment sector’s crucial role in India’s economic expansion. He highlighted the notable focus on sustainability, green energy and future-ready innovations. Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General, CII, added that EXCON 2025 set new benchmarks in scale and participation, reinforcing India’s growing manufacturing capabilities and alignment with long-term infrastructure and sustainability priorities.
Deepak Shetty, Co-Chairman, EXCON 2025, noted that India, currently the world’s third-largest construction equipment market, has the potential to rise to second place within five years, with EXCON serving as a key platform for industry advancement.
EXCON 2025 spotlighted “Building India’s Tomorrow” through innovations in AI, IoT, automation, electric and hybrid equipment, and low-emission technologies. Conferences on skill development, safety, decarbonisation and PM Gati Shakti-aligned infrastructure strategies supported collaboration among OEMs, contractors, financiers, SMEs and startups, further advancing Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The event also accelerated the industry’s push toward a projected $25 billion construction equipment market by 2030, expanding exports to over 135 countries and reinforcing Bengaluru’s position as a rising construction-tech hub contributing to India’s goal of becoming a $30 trillion economy by 2047.
