CCI Approves Nitro Asia Holdings’ Proposed Stake Purchase in National Highways Infra Trust

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the proposed acquisition of certain units of National Highways Infra Trust by Nitro Asia Holdings II Pte. Ltd. The transaction involves the purchase of units through on-market deals on a registered stock exchange.

Nitro Asia Holdings II Pte. Ltd., incorporated in Singapore, is a special purpose vehicle engaged in holding equity and non-equity assets, including shares, debentures, bonds, securities, real property and other tangible and intangible assets.

National Highways Infra Trust is an infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) registered with SEBI under the SEBI (Infrastructure Investment Trusts) Regulations, 2014. Its investment objective is to operate as an InvIT under applicable law, including making investments in Indian SPVs as permitted under the InvIT Regulations.
