The inspection and soil testing has been initiated by the BRO on Miao-Vijoynagar road project in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh, Additional Director General (East), BRO, PKH Singh, said that a meeting of Arunachal Governor BD Mishra and Chief Minister Pema Khandu was held recently to discuss reconnaissance of the soil conditions and the bottlenecks in the strategic Miao-Vijoynagar road. Quality of work and its durability has to be maintained at all costs, with due technical care for the severe weather conditions and heavy rains in Arunachal Pradesh. The chief minister, who is also the environment & forests minister, briefed the ADG on the need to protect the flora and fauna in the Namdapha National Park and Tiger Reserve and sought speedy construction of the road, which is of strategic importance to the country's national security.
