ring road project
The north side approach road of the Kachchi Dargah-Bidupur six-lane bridge over Ganga river will be extended up to Vaishali in the west and Tajpur (Samastipur) in the eastern direction, and the entire ring road project with a length of 135-km involves an investment of ₹15,135 crore. The state CM asked the road construction department (RCD) to build two more six-lane approach roads in its north side to directly link Vaishali and Tajpur. He also suggested for building a direct approach road up to Tajpur so that the bridge could be directly connected to the Tajpur-Bakhtiyarpur bridge, which is also coming up over the Ganga near Bakhtiyarpur. RCD additional chief secretary, Amrit Lal Meena, informed that the total length of Vaishali approach road would be 40-km while Tajpur approach road would be 45km-long. Once ready, this bridge will directly link the diara areas of Raghopur. Accompanied by RCD and chief secretary, the CM inspected the ongoing construction works on the greater Patna's approved ring road. He visited the Kanhauli-Ajma part of the ring road near Sadisopur in Patna district and asked the RCD officials to expedite the construction work.
