Bengal revisits ₹3,000-cr Kulip port project

The government of West Bengal has decided to revive the Kulpi Port project entailing an estimated cost of ₹3,000 crore. In the recently concluded Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS), it secured an investment proposal for the mega port project. The Kulpi - a riverine port facility - will attract ₹4,000-₹5,000 crore investment for completion, and it is being taken up on a fast track basis, informed the state finance and industry minister Amit Mitra.
