Bailey International Launches Hydro Custom WC Series for Agri & Light Construction Equipment

Bailey International
Bailey International has announced the launch of its Hydro Custom WC Series. This next-generation welded cylinder line is designed to combine the rugged durability of a welded cylinder with the serviceability and flexibility of a traditional tie-rod, providing a high-performance solution for agricultural and light construction equipment manufacturers.

The Hydro Custom WC Series is designed to outperform traditional tie-rod cylinders by incorporating high-quality features at an affordable price. It includes adjustable forged clevises, threaded rods, and durable Hallite seals that enhance lifespan and dependability in tough applications. Rated for 3,000 PSI, this cylinder line features SAE 8 ports and an optional base-end port. The WC Series offers both power and versatility for lifting, pushing, and controlling crucial implements.

“We identified a clear market need for a cylinder that combines the toughness of a welded design with the versatile features of a tie-rod,” said Daniel Stoltz, Product Lead at Bailey. "The WC Series directly addresses this by offering a durable, compact, and easily serviced alternative that maintains performance and value. We’ve designed it as a straightforward upgrade for OEMs seeking to improve their equipment without raising costs.”

A key feature of the WC Series is its screw-on gland design, which simplifies maintenance by enabling quick and easy seal replacement, greatly reducing downtime. Each cylinder is also burst pressure tested at 6,000 PSI and has undergone a 20,000-cycle endurance test to ensure maximum reliability and performance in the field.

The Hydro Custom WC Series offers a compact, robust solution without the maintenance challenges and added weight of traditional tie-rod designs.
