Atlas Copco India wins Energy Efficiency Manufacturing Excellence Award
The award was presented by Suman Chandra, Director, MNRE, Anil Razdan, Chairman, ICC National Expert Committee on Energy and Former Secretary Power, GOI, Ashvini Kumar, Former MD SECI and Former Senior Director TERI. Milind Mehta, National Projects Manager- Applications & Execution – AIF, received the award on behalf of Atlas Copco India.

As part of Atlas Copco’s commitment to providing environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and sustainable solutions, the company recently announced the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Pune. This facility will rely on solar panels for approximately 80% of its energy needs, while three-fourths of the water consumption will be sourced from rainwater harvesting. The facility will be constructed to meet LEED (Leadership in Environmental Energy and Design) criteria.
