Atlas Copco India, a renowned provider of compressors, vacuum solutions, generators, pumps, power tools, and assembly systems, has been honored with the Energy Efficiency Manufacturing Excellence Award in the "Industrial Air Compressors" category. The award was presented at the 12th Green Energy Summit and the 4th Green Urja and Energy Efficiency Awards organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

The accolade was bestowed upon Atlas Copco India at a ceremony held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, on February 16, 2024. Milind Mehta, National Projects Manager- Applications & Execution – AIF, accepted the award on behalf of the company. The award was presented by esteemed personalities including Ms. Suman Chandra, Director, MNRE, Mr. Anil Razdan, Chairman, ICC National Expert Committee on Energy, and Dr. Ashvini Kumar, Former MD SECI and Former Senior Director TERI.

Alexander Pavlov, General Manager of Atlas Copco Compressors India, expressed pride in receiving the ICC award, highlighting the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability. He emphasized Atlas Copco's dedication to delivering energy-efficient solutions to support customers' productivity and sustainability objectives.

Furthermore, as part of its environmental commitment, Atlas Copco recently announced the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Pune. This facility will prioritize energy efficiency, with solar panels meeting approximately 80% of its energy requirements. Additionally, rainwater harvesting will fulfill three-fourths of the facility's water consumption. The construction will adhere to LEED (Leadership in Environmental Energy and Design) standards, underscoring Atlas Copco's commitment to sustainability.
