Assotech unveils Rs.150 cr affordable units

In a first private sector affordable housing project in Jharkhand, one of the leading real estate players in the country, Assotech Limited has decided to launch Assotech Hills in Boreya under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY) through its wholly owned subsidiary Assotech Sungrowth Abode LLP. Initially, for the first phase in which the company is developing 680 units is going to be launched in the presence of Urban Development Department Minister Chandreshwar Prasad Singh, Assotech Promoter and Managing Director (MD), Sanjeev Srivastava said. The company would develop 680 flats for Lower Income Group (LIG) and Middle Income Group (MIG) at an estimated cost of Rs.150 crore. The company will develop 1BHK (bedroom, hall and kitchen) for LIGs in 30 square meters under brand name Vardaan Homes. An LIG flat will be made available at around Rs.12 Lakh and MIG flat at around Rs.18 Lakh, he claimed.
