Assam awards ₹2,625-cr flyover contract in Kaziranga

Flyover Project
The Assam state government has decided to construct a 36-km long and 11 meter wide flyover in Kaziranga to protect the wildlife at the Kaziranga National Park. Mumbai-based infra builder Wadia Techno Engineering Service has been awarded the contract at an investment of ₹2,625 crore. The DPR will be completed in the next two months and ₹3.7 crore has been released by the NHAI The flyover will help curb road accidents at the National Park.
