Adding to its project portfolio in the country's Road and Highway Sector, Ashoka Buildcon, a renowned road infra builder of national repute, has signed a concession agreement for a road project in Punjab entailing an investment of Rs. 1,600cr. The project in question pertained to widening and upgrading of the four lanes of the Kharar-Ludhiana road stretch into six lanes in Punjab. A subsidiary of Ashoka Builcon, Kharar Ludhiana Road Ltd., entered into a pact with the National Highway Authority of India on this score.
