Andhra Pradesh Launches Rs 105 Cr Road Development Projects in Vijayawada

Ponguru Narayana laid the foundation stone for three masterplan road projects in Vijayawada, with a total estimated cost of Rs 105 crore.

The projects include the widening and development of key stretches such as Ballemvari Street from Poranki–Nidamanuru Road, Auto Nagar–Murali Nagar Road, and Ballemvari Street up to Nidamanuru Junction, aimed at improving urban connectivity and easing traffic congestion in the city’s peripheral areas.

The road development works are part of ongoing infrastructure initiatives to upgrade transport networks in Vijayawada and support its planned expansion into a larger urban centre. Once completed, the projects are expected to enhance traffic flow and improve accessibility across key residential and industrial zones.
