Ammann: Committed to Sustainable Solutions

Ammann's new products and technologies displayed the company's continued commitment to sustainability, low emissions and minimal environmental impact. The company marked its 150th anniversary at bauma and displayed over 100 products from its light equipment, compaction machines, and concrete & asphalt segments.

In the compaction segment, on display were the ARX 91 Articulated Tandem Roller, Ammann ART 280 Hydrostatic Tyred Roller, ARX Light Tandem Rollers, ARS 122 T3 Soil Compactor, ARP 95 ST5 Pivot-Steer Roller, and ARS Series ST5 Soil Compactors.

Ammann Compaction Expert (ACE), the company's proprietary Intelligent Compaction system, is the most basic system; it uses LED lights to indicate the compaction progress, measures compaction, and assigns specific values to progress through a digital interface.

From its concrete and asphalt segment, Ammann displayed its ABC ValueTec Asphalt-Mixing Plants, which provide efficiency, reduce costs and thereby improve profits. They offer the lowest product life cycle cost of all products in their segment. Customization enables use of 25 – 40% recycled asphalt. The transport-optimised CBT 130 TB Elba Concrete-Mixing Plant combines the advantages of quick with large production capacity. The plant fits in two containerised transport units. Electric and pneumatic components are completely pre-installed. The RSS 120-M Shredder, Iron Separator and Screen is a mobile machine that prepares recycled asphalt for use in an asphalt-mixing plant. It is essentially a 3-in-1 machine with ability to function as a shredder, iron separator and screen. The machine is the ideal solution for recycling asphalt that ranges in size from millings to larger pieces. The RSS 120-M can go from installation to production in as quickly as 30 minutes.relocation
