Alimak Introduces Upgraded Transport Platform, Scaffold Transportation System & Hoist

Alimak’s new Vectio 350 transport platform range comes with enhanced features to improve safety, efficiency, and comfort at compact construction sites for all vertical access needs, including direct-to buildings and scaffoldings. The range includes six unique models with payload capacities varying from 500 kg to 2,000 kg. Each model has dual functionality and by operating a simple changeover key switch on the electric control panel, and fitting the roof section, they can be used both as a transport platform at the speed of 12 m/min or a material hoist at a speed of 24 m/min.
It features an overload protection and over speed safety device. It has a Falling Object Protection System (FOPS) to protect passengers on the platform from falling objects and weather conditions.
The Vectio 350 connects with My Alimak, a customized web-based portal that provides vital performance insights to owners of Alimak equipment. The company’s recently developed AliSoft - a groundbreaking technology - provides excellent ride comfort with smooth starts, reduced power consumption, and plays a crucial role in safeguarding and prolonging the lifespan of the hoist's motor and other components.
Alimak’s updated Scaffold Transportation System STS 300 provides an efficient and reliable means of transporting scaffolding materials vertically and horizontally. With the ability to install up to 300 sqm of scaffolding per day using just two operators, the STS 300 is a valuable asset.

Key features include a 300 kg payload capacity, allowing transport of large quantities of scaffolding materials, including bulky components like staircases. At 17 meters per minute, the STS 300 moves materials across various levels, reducing waiting times and boosting productivity on-site. Designed for fast assembly and minimal tool requirements, it is installed using a one-bolt mast connection, and landing gates need no time to be installed. It features stackable boxes that simplify transportation and storage, reducing setup and dismantling time.
Loading and unloading at height can be safely completed by swivelling the STS 300 box to the scaffold while safely standing behind handrails. It is equipped with wheels for smooth horizontal movement of scaffold materials on the ground. The system requires only two workers: one at the bottom for loading and unloading, and the other at the top to install or dismantle the scaffold.
Alimak’s new, more refined hoist Scando 650a 40-46 S comes with 25% capacity increase and 22% lower power consumption. Its payload capacity has increased from the earlier 3,200 kg to 4,000 kg. It is available in single or dual-car configurations, and has a car size of 1.5 m x 4.6 m. It can be configured with a lifting height of 200 m with an increased lifting height of up to 400 m on demand. . In dual hoist car applications, one car can be serviced while the other is still in operation.
An industrial design HMI panel with a high-resolution touchscreen and a new user-friendly interface gives real-time hoist status information. The hoist is water resistant with an IP65 corrosion-resistant screen with protective glass. New driving modes will optimize the use of the hoist and enhance vertical transportation logistics. Accessories such as mast, ties, vertical pipe systems, and landing equipment are fully compatible with the Scando 650 range.
The Scando 650a connects with My Alimak, a web-based portal that provides performance insights to owners of Alimak equipment. It’s new hoist car has vertical sliding doors with larger opening to load/unload larger goods; doors with electrically monitored safety locks, indication lights and fall protection safety. Smart Frequency Converter ensures maximum speed of the hoist independent of payload or any voltage drop.
A new foldable design installation platform simplifies and improves safety when installing and inspecting mast, ties, vertical pipe systems, and landing arrangements. Foldable jib installation crane equipped with or without an electrical chain hoist eases installation of mast sections, tie assemblies, and landing gates. Lightweight aluminum handrails on car roof reduce the risk of objects falling during installation and service.
