Ahmedabad has witnessed the biggest land deals amounting to over ₹1000 crore in areas like Gota and SG Highway as the location has recorded two major land deals of over ₹350 crore, said sources that HN Safal, Gala Group, and Goyal Group are in a joint deal for the land parcel of 42,000 sq yard by the side of Gota flyover. Similarly, Shanku's Party Plot of 28,000 sq yard has been reportedly sold where the construction work will also be slated to start shortly. Uday Vora of HN Safal Group said that they will launch a state-of-the-art project with16 lakh sq feet built-up space, mix of commercial and retail development, thereby, making it as the biggest ever project in Ahmedabad and probably in Gujarat. The joint venture of HN Safal, Goyal and Gala is also planning to build a mall-cum-commercial space in near future. The project will cover mainly Gota area followed by Tragad and Jagatpur. Meanwhile, another 10,000 plot in Hebatpur area was sold at ₹1.05 lakh per sq yard. President of Gujarat Institute of Housing and Estate Developers – Confederation of Real Estate Developers of India (GIHED-CREDAI) Ashish Patel said that these areas have been opened up by the government and will witness more residential development in near future.
