Afcons Infrastructure Wins Bid for Bhopal Metro Project

Afcons Infrastructure has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for constructing an elevated viaduct and 13 elevated Metro stations on the Blue Line of the Bhopal Metro project. This contract, awarded by the Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL), includes the partial design and construction of a 12.91 km stretch.

The project covers stations at Bhadbhada Square, Depot Chauraha, Jawahar Chowk, Roshanpura Chauraha, Kushabhau Thakre Hall, Parade Ground, Prabhat Chauraha, Govindpura, Govindpura Industrial Area, JK Road, Indrapuri, Piplani, and Ratnagiri Tiraha. Notably, it excludes an elevated passenger interchange station. This development marks a significant step in the progress of Bhopal Metro’s infrastructure.
