Adani unfolds huge infra investment in Telangna

After Gujarat and Maharashtra, Adani group has recently committed huge investment in Telangana including setting up a dry port on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada national highway linking the coastal states of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh to boost business in South India. In addition, the company is also keen to take up big infrastructure development programs, said official sources, adding that a big dry port near Chityal in old Nalgonda district on the national high way-65 connecting Hyderabad with Vijayawada on public-private partnership mode. The proposal is in initial stages and the government will take a decision only after holding a meeting with the officials concerned. Once the company enters, the flow of investments from the multi-million company will go up mainly in the areas of energy, real estate, financial services and Defence and aerospace. As part of the promotion of investments under the TS-iPASS, the state government is also holding talks with various companies inviting them to invest in other sectors as well.
