Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani projects that India's cumulative infrastructure spending will surpass $2.5 trillion by 2032, coinciding with the country becoming a $10-trillion economy. Speaking at the 'Infrastructure: the Catalyst for India's Future' event by Crisil, Adani emphasized the importance of infrastructure for energy transition and digital infrastructure as pivotal for India's growth and the global GDP. "The global transition market, valued at about $3 trillion in 2023, is expected to reach nearly $6 trillion by 2030, and double every 10 years until 2050," Adani noted.
He also revealed that the Adani Group plans to invest over $100 billion (approximately ₹8.35 lakh crore) in the next decade in energy transition projects and manufacturing key components for green energy generation.
