This new combihammer, in its unmistakable red livery, is certainly no ordinary tool; Hilti’s TE 40 is, infact the most powerful machine in the TE–C class (SDS-Plus). Its 1010-watt motor and extremely efficient hammering mechanism leave the user in no doubt of its capability. But it won’t be a genuine Hilti Tool if its quality was just merely in terms of its outstanding power transmission to the drill bit or chisel.
Thanks to its new design, featuring perfect balance and ergonomic D Grip, the TE 40 offers exceptional working comfort.
The TE 40 is designed for hammer drilling in concrete, masonry and natural stone in the 14-24 mm diameter range, socket cutting with percussion core bits upto 90mm in diameter and light chiseling work using Hilti’s unique self–sharpening polygon chisels.
Its powerful torque also ensures rapid drilling progress in wood and steel.
Following the worldwide success of the already well proven and lighter TE 16 series for regular drilling in diameters upto 16 mm and occasional corrective chiseling, Hilti has now rounded off the TE–C class with a launch of TE 40. The TE 40 is the most powerful machine available for use with drill bits and chisel with SDS-Plus connection end and is thus destined for a very wide range of applications. With its optional interchangeable chunks (TE-C “click”, 3 Jaw key chuck or keyless quick release chuck). This advance combi hammer offers unbeaten versatility.
