Jain informs that it is a very economical machine since no hydraulics are used; the 100% power transmission is on the shaft and there is no energy loss in the transmission as the machine delivers the entire power of motor onto the blade. “With this machine, we are bringing a very advanced technology in concrete cutting. In fact, we are the only manufacturers of this machine in India,” he says.
Prime Technologies’ other products in the electric concrete cutter range include the EC 16 and EC 24 (Electric Hand Cutter) which come with 3200 W and 3500 Winput power, respectively. EC 16 provides maximum cutting depth of 145 mm, while EC 24 has a maximum cutting depth of 260 mm. With net weight of 12.8 kg and 14.5 kg (without blade), these electric concrete cutters are the most advanced and versatile machines used for cutting construction materials like reinforced concrete, stone, wood, etc. The machines have an in-built water connection that splashes the water onto theblade during concrete cutting. They have a PRCD (Portable Residual Current Device) to avoid leakage of current.
Jain informs that the company has technological tie-ups with GOLZ from Germany, and HYCON from Denmark. “GOLZ is coming up with some high frequency wiresawmachines that can be used as coredrill machines also. They come with various attachments that enable the machines to be used as a hand cutter etc as per the requirement at site.”
