Alltech's 120 tph Mobile Asphalt Batch Mix plant
Gujarat-based Alltech displayed its new 120 tph mobile asphalt batch mix plant, designed and manufactured at the company’s facility in Mehsana, complete with chassis, bins, burner, hopper and screens.
Informed Rakesh Patel, Chairman and Paresh Patel, Managing Director, Alltech Industries, ”The plant is designed for carrying out maintenance work for long road stretches. Since it is completely mobile, it can be easily towed between sites by prime movers. Most importantly, facilitated by a hydraulic jacking arrangement, it can be set, erected, and commissioned to deliver throughput within one week, compared to the one month time taken by the conventional stationary asphalt batch mix plants. The completely mobile feature of the plant also reduces its transportation and erection costs.”
The company is also making improvisations in its stationary asphalt batch mix plants for processing cold and hot recycling materials. It is also considering use of alternate fuels to lower the cost of operations and is therefore not placing coal fired burners in the plants. Alltech also manufacture bitumen decanters, bitumen micro surfacing and allied products.
