Hamm introduces new CEV Stage V Compact Tandem Roller HD 12B G-Tier

A key feature of the HD 12B G-Tier is the characteristic “wasp waist” design, which provides clear visibility to the drums and the area in front of the roller. In combination with the proven 3-point articulation, the machine offers stable driving characteristics, a tight turning radius, and uniform weight distribution which is one of the key features for high compaction quality.
Operation is simplified thanks to a text‑free, icon‑based interface. All key information is displayed using clear pictograms, allowing intuitive use regardless of language skills and experience. Daily tasks are also designed for efficiency: a central lifting point supports quick loading, while service areas are grouped on one side of the machine and accessible via a wide‑opening engine hood.
The compaction performance is achieved through a high static linear load and centrifugal forces of up to 43 KN. This in combination with a diameter of 720 mm prevents cracks and bulges while enabling consistent compaction quality. Power is supplied by an 18,4 kW Yanmar engine that meets the CEV Stage V emissions standard. The operating weight is 2,9 t. With these parameters, the new HD 12B G-Tier is an all-rounder for asphalt construction, soil compaction and landscaping.

The new tandem roller HD 12B G-Tier is powerd by an 18,4 kW engine. With an operating weight of 2,9 t and a drum width of 1,200 mm, it is ideally suited for a wide range of applications in road construction, soil compaction and landscaping.
