Indus displays new hydraulic rock breakers and surface drills
Pune-based Indus Rock Tools showcased series of new products are designed to meet the primary and secondary surface rock breaking requirements. At bauma CONEXPO India, the company showed its new, heavy-duty RB 7580 hydraulic rock breaker, compatible with 70-100-ton excavators. The new generation heavy breakers have a high impact rate of 300-400 bpm, making them most suitable for demolition work, recycling, mining, construction and quarrying applications in iron ore and limestone mining.
Said Jatinder K. Jain, Director, Indus Rock Tools, "The breaker RB7580 is most & rugged production solution for mining in primary braking due to its Pure Hydraulic design with top mounted sealed accumulated 3 stage anti dampening buffer & auto control system:.
Also on display was the company’s new MS 600 medium capacity hydraulic rock breaker, suitable for medium and large sized excavators of 20-28 tons. With an impact rate of 300-500 bmp, it has features similar to that of RB 7580.
For the granite and marble mining sectors, Indus showcased its new IRB 220 TOE, pneumatic, self-contained, crawler drill, powered by a turbo-charged Indian Ashok Leyland engine. It comes with a rod length of six feet with a hole diameter of 115 mm and 30 feet hole depth.
"This machine is suitable for large quarry owners as it is designed to work up to 300 psi working pressure compressor. The drill, with a heavy-duty hydraulic feed and rotation system, has an automatic tow drill changing provision, which is an added feature," informed Jain."We are offering five variants of the pneumatic drillfor varied applications."
New Hartl Bucket Crusher & Screener showed by Indus at the event. The company has a JV with Hartl of Austria for manufacturing bucket crushers and screeners in India under a ‘Make in India Commitment’. Production will commence by mid-2019. The products will be marketed and exported from India, and Indus has already booked few orders of Hartl bucket crushers.
Said Jain, "With the Hardox material centralised lubrication system, the buckets are ideal for crushing materials as production solution at granite, basalt, gypsum and limestone.The Hartl bucket crushers with capacities ranging between 0.60 to 1.53 cum, will be suitable for 10-50-ton class of excavators.
