Casagrande Equipment Working at Prestigious Projects in LONDON

At the construction sites, three B360XP machines are being deployed - the flagships of the Casagrande range. These machines are used to realise large-diameter piles as well as C.F.A. piles for foundation works on the Thames bank.
One of the toughest excavation tasks executed by the B360XP involves making room for secant piles with a diameter of 1000 mm at a depth of 16 metres, which should enable the construction of a soldier pile wall as a permanent excavation support.
The B360XP machine was also used to build foundation piles with reinforcing cage, with a diameter of 1500 – 1800 – 2100 and up to 2400 mm. The excavation depth for this project reaches 64 metres thanks to the Casagrande equipment, which ensures the execution of 1 complete pile per day.
Another B360XP machine equipped with a Continuous Flight Auger (C.F.A.) is building a wall of secant piles with a diameter of 900 mm, at a depth of 32 metres. The machine is delivering an excellent production rate, with an average of 4 piles per day.
