Kobelco displays wide range of machines; focuses on mining, special attachments, extra care customer support

Kobelco has expanded its range gradually, bringing in the 38-ton and the 52-ton models in the recent past in select Mining applications like Marble, Granite, Coal, Limestone, Iron, etc. Introduction of the latest Generation-10 features have placed these models at a considerable advantage over others and is bound to leverage the company's position in the Indian market. The machines give exceptional fuel savings and higher productivity, combined with enhanced durability.

Said Vikram Sharma, Advisor (India & South Asia) Kobelco, "We are also promoting our 80-ton Mining Excavator SK850LC, more actively. The machine is winning many mining contracts as it is well-matched to the requirements of the job. The next few years will certainly see Kobelco's growth in this segment."

Kobelco also displayed the SK35 SR Mini Excavator, which is finding many applications in India. This segment has been posting a slow but steady growth and Kobelco, a leader in this segment internationally, is aiming to make its presence felt more strongly.

"Recent trends have shown a growing preference for various Special Attachments designed for specific tasks like Demolition, Super Long Boom, Clamshell Grab, Telescopic Dippers, etc. Kobelco has now moved into this growing field and offers a range of such options," Sharma added.

Maintaining its focus on customer support, Kobelco has launched an Extra Care Scheme which assures customer's peace of mind for up to three years, by which time the equipment would be almost free. This is bound to bolster the confidence of the customers in the quality of their products and field support.
