Sicoma Mixers India Pvt Ltd is 100% subsidiary of Sicoma srl, Italy and engaged in manufacturing concrete mixers. We have already installed more than 200 mixers successfully in India and the demand is ever increasing due to the boom in infrastructure industry. Now our next effort is to explore more areas in concrete industry in second tier cities with the demand for ready mix concrete and concrete products increasing, said Mr. Vinayak Gajendragad, Director–Indian Operations, Sicoma.

Elaborating on promoting company's products he said over a period of years, there has been a sea change in the perception of Indian concrete industry towards the use of machinery. People have become more educated and they know their needs more precisely than ever. This has given us an impetus to promote our products which are customer and application centric, apart from being state-of-the-art technological. Our focus during this Excon is to further strengthening our relationship with existing customers by offering them more economical products while maintaining the same quality as in the past. As a focused company, we try to meet more end users apart from being in constant touch with our OEM customers. Our participation in this event will help us meet several end users with varied requirements and helps us understand their needs better, such that our future efforts are in the direction of the market's demand.

While shedding lights on their recent achievement he said that Sicoma Mixers India Pvt Ltd has opened a new and bigger facility in Bangalore to assemble and manufacture the mixers. For this, the work has already started to locate appropriate materials locally keeping our strict quality requirements in mind. Whereas critical components are still being imported, the endeavor is to lower the costs of transportation and taxes by sourcing local components. The new facility is currently operational and will be officially inaugurated by November this year.
