Sicoma Mixers India: Meeting the Growing Demand in Concrete Industry
Mr. Vinayak Gajendragad, Director–Indian operations, SICOMA
“Current economic condition is a challenge for the construction industry. It has seen its share of ups and downs and the fluctuation exchange prices add to the woe. In bC India, we would like to bring to the notice of our customers that since we have ready stock of the mixers and most of the mixers are currently being assembled in India, not only they are assured of faster deliveries but are also exempted from frequent exchange rates fluctuations,” informs Mr. Vinayak Gajendragad.
Sharing his view about the bC platform he added that as the market is subjected to the sentiments of the investors, such exhibitions will definitely bring those sentiments to vivification. Exhibitions bridge the gap between technology advancements and unawareness about those products. By participating in this exhibition, the company’s emphasis on customer centric approach will reach out to the visitors.
Talking about the company progression during slowdown he briefs, “Since the Indian economy was down for some time, larger projects went either into hibernation or were downgraded in the requirements. This has resulted in demand of smaller size concrete mixers. Since we are a customer-centric company, we immediately started focusing on manufacturing and providing smaller size planetary mixers for ready mix application. Passing on the cost advantage was the major objective in this effort, by localizing many of the components those were earlier imported. SMIPL has progressed ever since in sourcing local components and manufacturing smaller size planetary mixers for ready mix plants.”
Expressing his positive concern for the Indian CE industry he says, due to recent government policies in various sectors such as Aviation, Retail and Infrastructure, the demand trend has been on the positive side. This will help all construction equipment manufacturers in order to be back on track and we look forward to inclusive growth in our sector.
