Trimble Innovative Construction Solutions
From concept to completion, Trimble's integrated systems streamline jobs and improve productivity with innovative solutions that change the way construction jobs are done. Trimble latest innovative productivity solutions are:
Combined with the Trimble SCS900 site controller software, contractors using the Trimble SPS facilitates performing site measurement tasks such as surface stakeout, material volumes check grades and laid material thicknesses. This capability provides the contractors with total control of site operations at every stage and ability to make instant decisions on the field.
From GCS300 laser-based or GCS600 sonic-based through to GCS900 3D automatic, these systems are user-friendly, fully upgradable and flexible enough to meet a wide range of application and jobsite requirements. The systems can be placed on a variety of earthmoving machines including excavators, bulldozers and motorgraders.
Trimble's machine control solutions provide operators the information they need in the cab, allowing them to complete projects with greater speed and precision.
Trimble's Spectra Precision® Laser also offer a range of professional quality lasers and positioning tools for distance measuring, levelling, grading and alignment in general construction, interior and underground applications.
According to Mark Forrest, the Worldwide Sales Manager for Trimble Construction Division, "Construction contractors around the world, including India, are consistently looking for ways to improve productivity in their operations and will often invest to realise improvements of a few percent. Trimble's construction solutions are designed to meet these demands and we expect to see significant growth in the use of these solutions in Asia in the future. We expect to see increased demand across all of these areas. Trimble has had a pioneering role in developing productivity-enhancing positioning solutions for the construction contractors and we have an ongoing commitment for providing innovative, robust and user-friendly solutions for construction applications".
Founded in 1978 and headquartered in Sunnyvale, California USA, Trimble has more than 2,400 employees in more than 18 countries worldwide.
In May 2006, Trimble strengthened its commitment in India by opening an office to better meet the needs of the region. "The opening of the Gurgaon office is an important extension of our presence in India and the Asia Pacific region," said Christian Knoll, Trimble's Engineering & Construction regional sales manager for India. "We see this as an opportunity to better service our customers to assist in the modernization drive taking place."
Trimble Site Positioning Systems (SPS)
The SPS provides contractors with revolutionary construction positioning solutions, using GPS and total-station optical technology to enable contractors to perform site measurement tasks such as surface stakeout, material volumes check grades and laid material thicknesses.Combined with the Trimble SCS900 site controller software, contractors using the Trimble SPS facilitates performing site measurement tasks such as surface stakeout, material volumes check grades and laid material thicknesses. Trimble Grade Control Systems (GCS)
The GCS performs earthworks smarter, fast and more profitably and offers many spin off advantages. From estimating to completion, Trimble's next generation Grade Control Systems have revolutionized the total construction process with the most complete line of Grade Control Systems. From GCS300 laser-based or GCS600 sonic-based through to GCS900 3D automatic, these systems are user-friendly, fully upgradable and flexible enough to meet a wide range of application and jobsite requirements. Spectra Precision Laser®
Spectra Precision Laser® range of conventional grade control systems and laser levelling systems and are unique as compared with conventional grade control systems. These systems are highly flexible, rugged and can be used on a wide range of machines, including dozers, backhoes, scrapers, skid steers and excavators. The Spectra Precision Laser machine systems includes three new laser receivers and a control box: the Spectra Precision Laser LR30 Laser Receiver, LR50 Laser Receiver, and LR60 Laser Receiver. For automatic blade control, contractors can add on the Spectra Precision Laser CB25 Control Box.Trimble's Spectra Precision® Laser also offer a range of professional quality lasers and positioning tools for distance measuring, levelling, grading and alignment in general construction, interior and underground applications.
