Regenerative Drive Technology
KONE N MiniSpace™ is not just people flow friendly, but also extremely eco-friendly. A regenerative drive has a substantial impact on an elevator’s energy consumption – it can in fact cut energy consumption up to 20%.With over 100 years of experience in the elevator business, KONE ranks amongst the top global companies in the elevator and escalator industry. It offers one of the best People Flow® experience through energy-efficient solutions that enable people to move smoothly, safely, comfortably, and quickly in an increasingly urbanized environment.
The company has achieved a strong track record in reliability, efficiency and safety, and it continues to contribute to sustainable urban development with its eco-efficient solutions. It owes a large part of its success to its consistent and systematic investment in R&D and innovativeness to boost its capabilities. To further enhance its services, it explores emerging technologies and working methods in other industries, and keeps abreast of changing market trends and customer needs. Going forward, the company has tied up with IBM for its technology, and is leveraging the Watson IoT platform to improve the uptime of its elevators and escalators.
