JSW One Acquires BuildNext to Expand Digital Home Construction Platform

The acquisition builds on JSW One’s existing platform, JSW One Homes, enhancing its ability to offer integrated services across materials procurement, design, execution and project management for individual home builders, contractors, architects and homeowners.
As part of the deal, Pidilite Ventures Pvt. Ltd. will transfer its stake in BuildNext to JSW One through a share-swap arrangement at a mutually agreed valuation, while continuing to participate in the company’s growth.
The move combines JSW One’s supply chain and distribution strengths with BuildNext’s design and project management expertise, aimed at building a more organised and technology-driven home construction ecosystem in India.
Gaurav Sachdeva, Joint Managing Director & CEO, JSW One Platforms, said, "At JSW One, we are committed to building an integrated, technology-led platform that solves real-world inefficiencies across industries. Home construction in India remains highly fragmented, and customers often face challenges around coordination, visibility, and trust. With JSW One Homes, we are building a platform that brings together materials, design, and execution in a seamless manner. The addition of BuildNext strengthens this vision meaningfully, enabling us to deliver a more predictable and organised home-building experience at scale. With this investment, we also welcome Pidilite to the cap table of JSW One and are excited to partner with them in building JSW One."
Sanket Parekh, Director, Pidilite Ventures Private Limited, added, "BuildNext has developed strong capabilities in the home design and project management space. We see significant potential in combining these capabilities with JSW One’s integrated platform, supply chain strength, and distribution reach. We are confident that this partnership will help unlock long-term value while delivering a more streamlined and reliable experience for customers."
India’s housing market continues to benefit from rising urbanisation, higher disposable incomes, and growing demand for customised homes. Consumers are increasingly looking for organised players who can combine materials, design, and execution under one platform.
The acquisition is expected to significantly strengthen JSW One Homes by adding deeper design and execution capabilities, while also enabling BuildNext to scale through JSW One’s wider market access and integrated ecosystem.
