Six major infrastructure firms, including L&T, J Kumar Infraprojects, NCC Limited, Megha Engineering, APCO Infraprojects, and Afcons Infrastructure, are competing for the ₹16,621-crore Coastal Road project connecting Versova to Dahisar in Mumbai. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation invited tenders in August, dividing the project into six packages. L&T is presently working on the ongoing Coastal Road phase connecting Marine Drive to Bandra Worli Sea Link. Megha Engineering and NCC Limited have secured the BMC's ₹6,000 crore contract for road concretization in Mumbai. The project segments cover various stretches, including Versova to Bangur Nagar, Bangur Nagar to Mindspace, Mindspace to Charkop, Charkop to Gorai, and Gorai to Dahisar. Tendering for each package is conducted separately.
