NHAI accelerates ₹580 cr Pune-Bengaluru NH bypass construction
NHAI expedites construction of the six-lane Narendra Cross to Gabbur stretch on the Pune-Bengaluru National Highway bypass, with a ₹580 crore investment. The project, managed by NHDL, includes 21 underpasses, one road over bridge (ROB), and a railway track bridge. The central government approved the detailed project report on March 25, 2023, with completion scheduled for September 2025. The initial phase involves widening three tracks on one side before progressing to the other side. The bypass will feature two-way service roads on each side, providing six dedicated lanes and four mixed traffic service roads.
