MoRTH to build ₹27,349-cr Frontier Highway in Arunachal

The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is all set to start the construction work on the two-lane 1,465-km long Frontier Highway in Arunachal Pradesh. The mega highway project in the border belt of the country is being built at ₹27,349 crore investment. Commissioning the new highway will change the landscape and road connectivity scenario along the border area from eastern to western parts of the state.

The Centre is working on mission mode to carry the development forward to every house and village of the area, which will give a boost to tourism and increase job avenues arresting the migration of locals outside the region.
