MoRTH launches ₹2,300-cr NH projects in MP

The Union Transport Minister has laid the foundation stones of three road projects and one flyover involving a combined investment of ₹2,300 crores. The project includes the Indore-Burhanpur road, Indore-Harda road stretch, repairing work of the service road of Bypass and a flyover on Rau Circle. The construction of a four-lane national highway from Tejaji Nagar to Burhanpur via Balwara entails an investment of ₹1,163 crore.

Along with this, the road stretch between Tejaji Nagar to Balwara will be strengthened at a cost of ₹31.54 crores. The project also includes the construction of another four-lane national highway between the city and Harda at ₹1,012 crore. The highway will help the city to have direct road connectivity with Nagpur, via Harda and Betul. The Union Minister also launched the construction of a four-lane flyover at Rau at ₹44 crore to decongest traffic at Rau circle.
