The Karnataka government
The Karnataka government has announced plans to invest ₹350 crore to construct a fully elevated five-kilometer road from Tin Factory junction to Medahalli in an effort to reduce traffic congestion in the IT city. The proposed elevated road is expected to ease traffic congestion on multiple adjoining roads in the area. Additionally, the government will build an integrated flyover from Yeshwanthpur Railway Station to Mathikere and BEL Road simultaneously. The project will be integrated with the rail networking of Suburban Railway Corporation.

To further ease traffic congestion, the government will develop 75 vital junctions with the highest traffic congestion at a cost of ₹150 crore. Additionally, Artificial Intelligence technologies will be used for the management of traffic signals by adopting seamless signaling systems.

Prior to this announcement, the state Chief Minister had already approved the construction of 11 flyovers in various parts of the city, including at Minerva Circle, Ittamadu Junction, Sarakki Signal, Nayandahalli Tumakuru Road stretch, Sankey Road, Hosur Road near Forum Mall and St John's Hospital, Yelahanka and Hoodi.

These infrastructure development projects are expected to significantly reduce traffic congestion in the city and improve the overall quality of life for its residents.
