The Union transport ministry has sanctioned ₹815.69 crore for widening of a 4-lane highway project crisscrossing the interior areas of Himachal Pradesh. State CM Jai Ram Thakur, informed that the sanctioned funds meant to be used to finance the widening, upgrading the highway stretch and on the rehabilitation of the affected families on the four laning of the Thanpuri to Paror section of the Pathankot – Mandi Road project in the state where the project is slated to be completed in the next 21 months.
