DBL bags ₹780.12-cr highway contract in AP

Dilip Buildcon, an infrastructure development company, has been awarded a new road building contract by the National Highways Authority of India. The company has been declared as the lowest bidder (L-1) for the project, which is worth ₹780.12 crore. The project, which falls under the Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I, involves the six-laning of a 16-km access controlled Greenfield highway from Audireddipalle to Mallapalle, part of the Bengaluru-Vijayawada Economic Corridor, in Andhra Pradesh (package-7) on a Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM). The project is to be completed within 24 months and will have an operation period of 15 years from the commercial operations date (COD).
