Pink Line to Become Delhi Metro’s Longest Corridor with Maximum Interchanges

With the upcoming opening of the Majlis Park–Maujpur extension this month, Delhi Metro’s Pink Line will become the network’s longest corridor at 71.6 km, featuring 46 stations. It will also have the highest number of interchange stations, 12, making it the most connected line in the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) network.
Currently, the Delhi Metro has 29 interchange stations across its system. The Pink Line’s existing 10 interchanges include Azadpur, Netaji Subhas Place, Punjabi Bagh West, Rajouri Garden, Dilli Haat-INA, Lajpat Nagar, Mayur Vihar I, Anand Vihar ISBT, Karkardooma and Welcome. With Majlis Park and Maujpur added as new interchanges, it will surpass the Blue Line (10 interchanges) and Yellow Line (8 interchanges).
In comparison, the oldest Red Line has four interchanges, while the shortest Grey Line, spanning 5.5 km from Dwarka to Dhansa Bus Stand, has just one.
