Bihar Housing Development Authority has cleared ₹500 crore funds for the First Phase of Patna Metro Rail Project. The sanctioned amount will be used for compensating villagers whose land has been acquired for the implementation of the project. The Central Government has already delivered ₹424 crore funds for acquiring land, while ₹726 crore funds are being disbursed to the landowners as compensation in lieu of their land acquisition.
