IRCON secures ₹400-cr bridge contracts

IRCON International has secured contracts for the construction of nine road-over-bridges (ROBs) from the Ministry of Railways involving an investment of ₹400 crore. The work has been awarded through competitive bidding among major infrastructure building players. The scope of work is to provide project management consultancy (PMC) services for the construction of ROBs in lieu of existing level crossings. The period of completion is 24 months from the date of awarding the contract. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed between the IRCON International and the concerned Zonal Railway officials.
