The State Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC) of the Karnataka government has approved as many as 60 industrial projects involving ₹2,500 crore investment. These projects have the potential for huge job generation avenues. The SLSWCC is spearheaded by Minister for Large and Medium Scale Industries, Murugesh Nirani. The committee approved projects cumulatively amounting to ₹2,465.94 crore. Among the new investments approved are Siddhasiri Souhard Sahakari Niyamit (₹361.15 crore), Goodrich Aerospace Services Private Limited (₹255.45 crore), Davanagere Sugar Company Limited (₹99 crore) and Honda Power Pack Energy India Pvt Ltd (₹84 crore).
