CIL awards ₹2,683-cr contract to Dilip Buildcon

Dilip Buildcon has secured ₹2,683.02 crore project from Coal India’s wholly-owned subsidiary, South Eastern Coalfield Limited (SECL) in Madhya Pradesh. Dilip Buildcon has already received an LOA for OB removal Contract Mining work for Amadand OCP, Jamuna Kotma Area, Tehsil-Kotma - Annupur in Madhya Pradesh. As per the official statement, the project consists of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery and allied equipment for Over Burden (OB) removal; loading into tippers, transportation, and unloading of excavated materials and silt; dumping, scraping and removal of all bands; and preparation. The work also involves maintenance of haul road, water sprinkling and spreading excavated materials at the site, and leveling dumps under the direction of the management and engineers in charge. The contract has been signed for a period of 1,795 days at Amadand OCP in the Jamuna Kotma Area of the state. Dilip Buildcon is a construction and infrastructure builder and has invested heavily in procuring road-building equipment from around the world; it undertakes projects under the EPC model.
