Haryana to Improve 4,655 Km of Roads with ₹2,750 Cr Investment in FY25

Haryana's Public Works (Building and Roads) Department Minister, Banwari Lal, has announced a plan to enhance the quality and condition of 1,425 roads, spanning 4,655 kilometers, with an investment of ₹2,750 crore during the fiscal year 2024-25.

The project includes- 51 state highways covering 680 kilometers at a cost of ₹600 crore; 43 major district roads covering 725 kilometers at a cost of ₹500 crore; and 1,331 other district roads covering 3,250 kilometers at a cost of ₹1,650 crore. The target is to complete these improvements by September 2024. Additionally, 3,400 kilometers of road have been repaired with patchwork between March 1, 2024, and June 30, 2024. Approximately 700 kilometers of village roads will be improved under the NABARD loan assistance scheme during 2024-25.
