Gadkari Approves ₹188.95 Cr for Ropeway Project in Ujjain, MP
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, has approved ₹188.95 crore for the development, operation, and maintenance of the existing ropeway between Ujjain Junction Railway Station and Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh. The project, under the Hybrid Annuity Mode, aims to facilitate movement, especially during peak pilgrimage seasons, reducing travel time to 7 minutes. The ropeway is expected to accommodate 64,000 pilgrims daily.
