Avirat Industries Expands Bar Cutting & Bending Solutions

Avirat
Avirat Industries has steadily expanded its footprint in the light construction equipment segment, with a strong focus on bar cutting and bar bending machines. “These two categories remain our core strength,” said Kapil Shah, Proprietor, emphasizing that the company not only manufactures machines but also supports trading and imports of construction equipment as per project needs.

“We supply whatever equipment a project requires during its startup phase, but our primary commitment is service. Even if a machine is not ours, we provide on-site service so that support is available to everyone,” he shared. This approach, he said, sets Avirat Industries apart in a competitive market where technology across brands is largely similar. “Most companies use the same working principles. What makes us different is that we never say no to service.”

Avirat has recently introduced upgraded bar cutting and bar bending models with higher capacities, including a 32 mm bar cutter and a 40 mm bar bender designed for higher strength, durability, and consistent output. The machines are engineered to deliver accuracy and speed, making them indispensable for reinforcement work in concrete structures.

“Our bar cutting machines offer fast and precise cutting with strong blades and powerful motors, while the bar bending machines give contractors accuracy and versatility with reduced manual effort,” he said. “Their compact build and reliability make them suited for both small and large construction sites.”

While the construction equipment industry is increasingly talking about automation and AI, Shah believes simplicity is the need of the hour for this particular segment. “Most users of these machines are not trained to operate high-tech equipment. Sites are often in remote areas where spares are not available for 100 km. If we make the machines too complex, it becomes difficult for them. So, we keep our equipment easy to operate, and easy to maintain,” he pointed out.

According to him, the market for bar bending and bar cutting machines is performing well under the Make in India push, and demand remains steady despite competition. “The competition is intense, but pricing is still favourable for manufacturing, and sales are strong,” he added.

A key focus area for Avirat Industries has been strengthening in-house production. “Our strongest R&D is maximising in-house manufacturing. We procure raw materials directly and minimise outsourcing so that we can control quality and improve our products,” noted Shah.

Reflecting on the business performance, he noted that the company nearly achieved the targets set for the previous financial year. Looking ahead, he remains optimistic. For the current financial year and the following three years, the company has set strong targets and plans to gradually expand its product range, confident of tapping into the growing demand driven by India’s infrastructure growth.
